The Department of Early Childhood Education at Honam University (Department Head Park Yeon-jeong) conducted a case study expert lecture program for second-year students on the 4th and 8th, organized by the Linc 3.0 Project Group.
This special lecture program invited Ju Young-mi, director of the municipal Bodeumni Nanum Kindergarten, as a natural ecology education instructor; Lee Yeo-ju, director of the Seo-gu Office Kindergarten, as a carbon neutrality education instructor; and Jang Moon-young, director of the Gwangju Buk-gu Office Kindergarten, as a digital play special lecture instructor, to implement early childhood education and AI education for infants and toddlers that respond to future society and promote sustainable development.
The students experienced natural ecology education such as forest experiences and forest play, and also confirmed sustainable development education sites through ESG education with infants and toddlers.
Additionally, through the introduction of digital play materials and play methods, the students had a more detailed opportunity to learn about digital utilization education that they can conduct with infants and toddlers in the field.
The students responded, "It was a very beneficial time because we could learn about education directly applied in the field through actual photo materials and experiences," and added, "We hope there will be many more special lectures like this in the future."
