The event was held the previous day at the Hong Myung-ki Hall in Yohan Building under the theme "50 Years of Sahmyook Nursing, Soaring into the 100 Years." The Department of Nursing at Sahmyook University was established in 1973 with approval from the Ministry of Education. A master's program was launched in 1995, followed by a doctoral program in 2011. In 2019, it was elevated to the College of Nursing, encompassing undergraduate programs, RNBSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing transfer program), graduate school, and clinical graduate school.

The College of Nursing has continuously been recognized for the excellence of its curriculum. Since the Korea Accreditation Board of Nursing Education conducted the first accreditation evaluation for nursing departments in 2006, it has consistently received the highest grade certification through the 4th cycle accreditation in 2023. Through the Ministry of Health and Welfare's nursing college clinical education support project, the clinical education environment was innovatively improved, and the Basic Life Support (BLS) Center was certified as a CPR training site.

The Dean of the College of Nursing at Sahmyook University stated, “The College of Nursing will continue to strive to improve the quality of education to nurture nursing talents equipped with both character and creativity, and to cultivate professional nurses who meet social demands. We hope for your continued interest and support so that the College of Nursing can keep producing professional medical personnel who contribute to society, humanity, and the church.”
