Dongdaemun-gu Mayor Ilhyung Lee's Congratulatory Speech at Seoul Smart Life Week (SLW) 'Global CDO Forum'

Congratulatory Address as Chairman of the Seoul District Mayors' Council... "Need to Create Smart Cities for a Better Life Centered on People"

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun District Office, attended the ‘Smart Life Week (SLW)’ held at COEX in Seoul on the 11th and delivered a congratulatory speech at the ‘Global CDO Forum’.

‘Smart Life Week (SLW)’ is an international expo organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Government to promote domestic innovative companies to the world and lead future technology trends. This event takes place from October 10 to 12 at COEX in Seoul, featuring 134 speakers from 115 cities in 72 countries who share the latest trends and visions in smart technology.

On the first day of the event, October 10, Mayor Lee visited the venue, interacted with participants including overseas market delegations, toured the exhibition, and encouraged the officials. On the 11th, he delivered a congratulatory speech at the ‘Global CDO Forum’ in his capacity as the chairman of the Seoul District Mayors’ Council.

Mayor Lee said, “A smart city must be people-centered, and technology should be designed to lead our lives in a better direction,” adding, “I hope this exhibition and forum will be a valuable opportunity for learning and cooperation for everyone.”
