Hana Bank - Ingukgong, Business Agreement to Activate Smart Pass Service

Hana Bank Offers Airport Smart Pass Service on Mobile App

Hana Bank announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with Incheon International Airport Corporation to activate the facial recognition departure service called the ‘Smart Pass Service.’

‘Smart Pass’ is a service that allows travelers to pre-register their facial and passport information, enabling them to quickly pass through the inspection gates at Incheon International Airport’s departure hall and boarding gates using only facial recognition, without having to present their passport and boarding pass each time. This service innovatively simplifies the cumbersome departure procedures.

Through this agreement, Hana Bank plans to provide the Incheon International Airport Smart Pass service via its representative mobile app, ‘Hana One Q.’

Hana Bank operates a branch at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and a business office at Terminal 2.

At the Incheon International Airport branch, unmanned currency exchange machines and STMs (Smart Teller Machines, intelligent automated devices) have been installed to allow customers to conduct transactions easily and quickly. Additionally, a dedicated counter for Korean Air flight attendants has been set up at the Terminal 2 business office.

A representative from Hana Bank’s Digital Channel Headquarters stated, “We expect this agreement to greatly improve convenience for airport users such as international travelers and airport staff,” and added, “We will continue to expand the scope of lifestyle financial linkage services so that anyone can easily and conveniently use Hana One Q in their daily lives.”
