Exem-Naver Cloud Join Hands for Generative AI-Based Chatbot

Exem and Naver Cloud are starting a collaboration to expand their generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based chatbot business.


Exem, an IT integrated performance management specialist company, announced on the 11th that it has signed a 'Service Partner (MSP)' contract with Naver Cloud to develop a large language model (LLM) AI service tailored to domestic conditions. Through this partnership, Exem will leverage its over 20 years of business experience in the financial, public, and enterprise markets to combine its big data system and service construction solution, EBIGs, with Naver's ultra-large-scale AI 'HyperCLOVA X' and 'CLOVA Chatbot' to launch the generative AI-based chatbot package product 'EBIGs for LLM Chatbot.'


This solution allows users to converse with the chatbot in everyday language and receive desired answers through AI-based big data analysis. Exem's EBIGs selects and learns customized data from the customer's database using Naver Cloud AI services ‘CLOVA Chatbot’ and ‘HyperCLOVA X,’ then accumulates the data through refinement and transformation to build a ‘learning data mart.’


EBIGs efficiently collects various forms (structured, unstructured, semi-structured) of big data owned by customers and converts them into chatbot training data formats. It performs big data distributed processing through the Hadoop ecosystem, enabling safe and rapid data processing. In particular, EBIGs is evaluated to have superior collection processing speed, query performance, and storage capabilities compared to the globally top foreign solutions, and it is increasing its supply achievements, including acquiring competitors' customers.


Park Yong-woo, Head of Exem’s Big Data Technology Division, said, "We are pleased to continue a high-growth business following our collaboration with Naver Cloud to build an AI chatbot search service in our current projects." He added, "Government ministries and local governments are accelerating ‘AI administrative innovation’ and striving to integrate generative AI into administrative services. There is great interest in the chatbot package product."
