Special Lecture for Parents of Gifted Students at the Education Research Information Institute on the 15th
The Busan Institute for the Promotion of Gifted Education will hold a special lecture for parents interested in gifted education on the 2nd floor auditorium of the Busan Education Research and Information Center, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM on the 15th. The event is expected to attract around 500 parents.
This special lecture has been prepared to help parents establish the right educational perspective for their children by understanding changes in future society and the significance of gifted education.
The lecture will be delivered by Lee Jungmo, director of Penguin Science Museum, under the theme "The Age of Artificial Intelligence and Scientific Literacy - How Should We Raise Our Children?" The lecture will focus on conveying the value of scientific literacy in the age of artificial intelligence to children and discuss gifted education methods to foster scientific literacy in them.
Jin Byunghwa, director of the Busan Institute for the Promotion of Gifted Education, said, "I hope this special lecture will give parents an opportunity to understand scientific literacy and to redefine their role as parents in nurturing the talents of future gifted children."
