Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) is expanding the operation of the ‘Safe Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Assistance Service for Single-Person Households’ to help single-person households facing difficulties in real estate lease contracts.

The ‘Safe Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Assistance Service for Single-Person Households’ provides customized consultation services by Residential Safety Managers who hold certified real estate agent qualifications and have extensive field experience and real estate knowledge. The services include ▲lease contract consultation ▲accompanied house viewing ▲residential area exploration support ▲housing policy guidance.

The district is expanding the service, which was previously operated twice a week, to be available during evenings and weekends as well.

The assistance service is conducted face-to-face every Monday and Thursday from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Real Estate Information Department consultation desk on the first floor of Guro-gu Office, and telephone consultations are also available. Additionally, if necessary, accompanied services can be used during evenings or weekends through consultation with the Residential Safety Manager.

Any single-person household planning to move to or currently residing in Guro-gu can use the service free of charge, and applications can be made through the Seoul Single-Person Household Portal or by phone.

Park Rae-geun, Residential Safety Manager (Vice President of the Korean Association of Certified Real Estate Agents, Guro-gu Branch), stated, “Young people taking their first steps into society often feel anxious about jeonse fraud, but the professional consultation and accompanied house viewing provided by the Residential Safety Manager will help them conduct transactions with peace of mind.”
