Porsche Panamera High-Performance PHEV Launched in Korea

Porsche Korea announced on the 10th that it will launch the 3rd generation new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid. It is a plug-in hybrid model that supports external charging.

Replacing the existing Turbo S model, it combines a 4ℓ V8 twin-turbo engine with a newly developed 190-horsepower electric motor. The total system output is 680 horsepower, with a torque of 94.8 kg·m. The motor is integrated into a newly designed 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission housing, and by eliminating the housing, the weight was reduced by about 5 kg.

The new car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The top speed is 315 km/h. The battery capacity is 25.9 kWh, allowing for a maximum electric-only driving range of 61 km based on high-speed fuel efficiency standards. The company explained that under optimal conditions, charging can be completed within 2 hours and 39 minutes.

The Porsche Active Live Suspension system is available as an option. The company explained that it softens the ride and effectively absorbs shocks from uneven surfaces, distributing wheel loads evenly even during dynamic driving situations. Some exterior and interior designs, such as the front and rear aprons and exhaust pipes, can be customized. The price for the 2025 model is 309.1 million KRW (including VAT), and it will be available in both 4-seat and 5-seat models.
