Chungnam Office of Education Achieves Overall First Place for Third Consecutive Year at National Commercial Skills Competition

Gangyeong Commercial High School and Cheonan Commercial High School Win Minister of Education Award

The Chungnam Office of Education announced on the 10th that it has achieved first place overall for three consecutive years at the National Commercial Skills Competition.

The 14th National Commercial Skills Competition was held in Jeju-do from the 7th to the 9th, where students from specialized commercial high schools competed in 15 categories, including accounting practice and financial practice. From Chungnam, 95 students from 15 specialized commercial high schools participated.

Among them, Ganggyeong Commercial High School and Cheonan Commercial High School received the Minister of Education Award, the grand prize, in the entrepreneurship practice and business programming categories. In addition, they won a total of 49 awards, including 10 gold, 15 silver, and 22 bronze medals, achieving first place overall.

Superintendent Kim Jicheol said, "I would like to thank the students and guiding teachers for their hard work in preparing for the competition," and added, "We will continue to support commercial high school students so that they can grow into creative technical talents equipped with future job competencies."
