Talent Sharing Volunteer Activities Carried Out
Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province carried out a "Happy Village Creation" volunteer activity in Daejeon 3-ri, Bunam-myeon on October 8 as part of its efforts to promote volunteerism.
The "Happy Village Creation" project aims to spread a culture of sharing through the talent donation of volunteers, revitalize villages led by local residents, and restore a sense of community.
On this day, about 50 volunteers from seven organizations, including the Korea Freedom Federation Cheongsong County Branch, Cheongsong-eup Healthy Village Keepers, Sonsarang Volunteer Group, Happy Sharing Home Repair Volunteer Group, Cheongsong Raon Saxophone Ensemble, Cheongsong Photo Association, and Bunam-myeon Saemaeul Women's Association, participated in a variety of activities. These included awareness improvement education, senior health exercise classes, hand massages, knife sharpening, saxophone performances, memory photo sessions, customized reading glasses support, and rubber shoes crafts, all practicing the sharing of their talents.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I would like to thank the volunteers who participated in the talent-sharing activities, and I will continue to work harder to make Cheongsong County a happier place for its residents."
