Dong-A University Career Development Center Holds Launch Ceremony for 'Local Career Mentoring Group'

Nine Students Including Lee Hyerim Participate as Career Mentors for High School Students

The Career Development Center of the Student and Employment Support Office at Dong-A University (Director: Cho Kyupan) held the inauguration ceremony for the '2024 Regional Career Mentoring Group.'

The ceremony, which took place on the 8th at the College of Humanities on Dong-A University's Seunghak Campus, was attended by Director Cho Kyupan, officials from the Career Development Center, and members of the student career participation group.

The regional career mentoring program is a program where university students visit high schools to introduce universities and departments and conduct career roadmap activities with students.

Previously, the Career Development Center at Dong-A University signed MOUs with career education support centers in 16 districts of Busan and formed a university student mentoring group for middle and high school students, actively operating career mentoring programs in connection with the local community.

The 2024 regional career mentoring group will conduct career activities to help high school students explore their career paths after two rounds of lecture demonstrations.

At the inauguration ceremony, Director Cho Kyupan said, "The connection between the university and the local community is gradually expanding. I hope this regional career mentoring program will greatly help high school students choose and prepare for their careers, and I also hope the mentors will grow together through this experience."

Lee Hyerim (Department of Tourism Management, 4th year), the head of the regional career mentoring group, said, "As a mentor representing Dong-A University, I will take responsibility and deliver useful information to high school students. I will make this a valuable time to share concerns about career paths together."

The newly selected mentoring group consists of: ▲ Head: Lee Hyerim (Tourism Management, 4th year) ▲ Members: An Suhye (Business Administration, 1st year), Kim Seorin (Education, 2nd year), Sim Sehee (Education, 2nd year), Moon Giwon (Architectural Engineering, 3rd year), Bae Sumin (Education, 3rd year), Kim Kanghee (Environmental and Energy Engineering, 4th year), Shin Minju (Electronic Engineering, 4th year), and Jeon Seyeon (Life Science, 4th year).
