The Gyeonggi Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on the 10th that it will present the 'Jo Hangjo & Kang Jin's Filial Piety Concert' at the Sejong Gugakdang on the 12th.

In line with Yeoju City's direction, which is implementing various policies to become a senior-friendly city, the Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation has prepared an enjoyable filial piety concert combining trot and gugak music to honor the elderly.

Singer Jo Hangjo, who is loved by the public for his dignified charm, Kang Jin, known for his soulful voice and witty speech, and next-generation master singer Kim Juri will perform with an eight-member band, presenting a stage where popular songs and gugak harmonize.

Jo Hangjo, the original singer of the song "Gomabso," which gained renewed attention through Kim Hojoong's remake, will perform not only "Gomabso" but also hit songs such as "Namja Raneun Iyuro," "Geojitmal," and "Naiga Deundaneun Geon." Kang Jin, the owner of the mega-hit song "Ttaengbeol," which incites sing-alongs on live stages, will present a medley of hits including "Makgeolli Hanjan," "Samgak Gwan-gye," and "Yeonha-ui Namja." Kim Juri, who has showcased the charm of gugak through various music programs including the gugak entertainment show "Pungnyu Daejang," will passionately sing songs such as "Bae Ttwieora," "Hongboga Jung Bak Taneun Daemok," and "Neoyeong Nayoung," creating a memorable stage for the elderly audience in Yeoju.

Lee Sun-yeol, chairman of the Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation, stated, "Seeing the tickets sell out immediately due to the enthusiastic response from Yeoju's elderly citizens, I felt their strong desire for culture. Our foundation feels an immense responsibility and will continue to plan diverse programs with a filial heart to ensure the happiness of our seniors."

Meanwhile, detailed information about the 'Jo Hangjo & Kang Jin's Filial Piety Concert' and other performances by the Yeoju Sejong Culture and Tourism Foundation can be found on the foundation's website.
