Uijeongbu City Holds Appointment Ceremony for New Members of Foreign Residents and Multicultural Family Support Association

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 10th that it held the appointment ceremony for new members of the 'Uijeongbu City Foreign Residents and Multicultural Family Support Council' and the 2nd meeting at the city hall situation room on the 8th.

The Foreign Residents and Multicultural Family Support Council functions to deliberate and advise on related matters to efficiently implement support policies for foreign residents and multicultural families.

At this event, appointment letters were delivered to the council members restructured due to the expiration of their terms. They were also introduced to the analysis of the current status of foreigners in Uijeongbu City, the performance and achievements of support projects in 2023, and projects planned for 2024. Information was exchanged to derive effective policies through cooperation among the public, private, and academic sectors.
