[Featured Stock] BioFDNC Grows with Improved Performance and Expansion of Microneedle Patch Formulations

BioFDNC is showing strong performance. It is interpreted that the analysis by securities firms, which stated that the company secured growth momentum through the expansion of microneedle patch formulations amid continuous growth, has had an impact.

BioFDNC was established in November 2005. Based on plant cell design and culture technology, its main business includes research and development and manufacturing of plant cell-derived active substances such as plant cell lines, growth factors,

and peptides, as well as pharmacological substances like antibodies and vaccines. It was listed on the KOSDAQ market as a technology-specialized company in February 2022.

Sim Eui-seop, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, said, "Currently, sales growth continues centered on EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) and FGF (Fibroblast Growth Factor). In addition to ampoules, the company is preparing to enter the market by expanding formulations to microneedle patches and establishing production facilities." He added, "Furthermore, they secured growth momentum by acquiring technology to produce high-purity PDRN derived from plant cells."

He also stated, "BioFDNC is promoting a health functional food business utilizing active substances extracted from over 250 plant cell lines it owns, and results are expected to appear in the second half of next year. Through the development of plant cell-derived pharmacological substances, the company is conducting research and development to achieve results in the biopharmaceutical business, which is expected to act as a future growth driver."
