FocusHNS Supplies AI CCTV to Major Domestic Elevator Company

Focus HNS announced on the 10th that it is supplying artificial intelligence (AI) closed-circuit television (CCTV) to a major domestic elevator company. The elevator company, which is the client, is a large firm holding about 40% of the domestic market share.

The CCTV supplied by Focus HNS is equipped with Internet of Things (IoT), AI, cloud, and big data technologies. The AI function continuously monitors passengers to detect abnormal long stays or unusual sounds such as screams, and provides video monitoring linked to an emergency button. When the AI determines an emergency situation, the location and video are immediately transmitted to the elevator customer center.

The company stated, “As soon as an emergency is detected, on-site monitoring through video reception is possible, securing the golden time,” and added, “We plan to expand the elevator monitoring system from general standalone buildings to large-scale systems such as apartments.”

They continued, “Our CCTV is optimized exclusively for domestic elevators,” emphasizing, “We will expand our market share based on excellent product technology applying AI functions and thorough security.”

Focus HNS is a specialized company in AI-based physical security and control solutions. Video storage devices and CCTV account for most of its sales, and the products are sold through security guard companies, government security infrastructure projects, and physical security distributors.
