Daejeon Tourism Organization Offers Nighttime Experiences with Hot Air Balloons and Moon Boats

Daejeon Science Festival Linked Event on Gapcheon Riverside from 18th to 20th

The Daejeon Tourism Organization announced that from the 18th to the 20th, as part of the Night Tourism Specialized City Project, it will present the ‘Dream Hot Air Balloon Night’ and ‘Delight Moonboat’ events along the Gapcheon riverside near Expo Science Park.

‘Dream Hot Air Balloon Night’ is a program where visitors can board a tethered hot air balloon along the Gapcheon riverside and enjoy panoramic night views of Daejeon.

‘Delight Moonboat’ offers a romantic nighttime boat experience under the moonlight at the Gapcheon Water Sports Experience Center.

The programs will operate from 6 PM to 9 PM and are available by advance reservation only. Reservations open at 10 AM on the 14th through the official Daejeon Science Festival website.

Yoon Sung-guk, President of the Daejeon Tourism Organization, stated, “We aim to showcase the new charm of Daejeon tourism through the beautiful night scenery of the Gapcheon riverside and emotional nighttime experiences. We will also prepare to operate these as regular programs starting next year.”
