NewJeans Hanni: "I Will Attend the National Assembly Audit Alone... For Myself and the Fans" NewJeans Hanni

On the 9th, Hani said on NewJeans' fan communication platform PoNing, "I've decided. I will go to the National Assembly," adding, "I will attend the audit alone."

Regarding her attendance at the audit, Hani explained, "You don't have to worry," and said, "I decided to go for myself, the members, and the 'Bunnies' (NewJeans fandom name). It's not difficult. I want to go."

She continued, "My manager and the company (agency) don't know yet," and said, "I've thought a lot, but I think going is the right thing. I wanted to tell the Bunnies first," adding, "I don't know what will happen through this experience, but I think it will be a valuable learning experience for me. That's why I want to go. I will protect NewJeans and the Bunnies."

On the 11th of last month, Hani claimed during NewJeans' YouTube live broadcast that the manager of the girl group ILY:1, under Belift Lab, a label under HYBE which is the parent company of her agency ADOR, told her to "ignore me," alleging she was being ostracized within the agency. In relation to this, a dispute over the truth has arisen between NewJeans and HYBE. Belift Lab has countered with CCTV footage and an investigation of the individual involved, stating that the claim is not true.

As the controversy grew, Kim Juyoung, CEO of ADOR, was summoned as a witness for the audit, and Hani was selected as a reference witness on the same day.

On the morning of the day, the NewJeans fandom announced plans to file a complaint against Kim Juyoung, CEO of ADOR, and other related parties at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul.

The Bunnies explained, "Kim Juyoung, CEO of ADOR, and Lee Mo, ADOR's vice president, are suspected of breach of duty and obstruction of business related to ADOR," and added, "Park Taehee, HYBE CCO, and Cho Mo, HYBE executive director, are suspected of violating the Personal Information Protection Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act."

Furthermore, the Bunnies claimed that CEO Kim and Vice President Lee did not actively take measures against actions that infringed upon and obstructed NewJeans' entertainment activities, disregarded the demands of members for ADOR's development, thereby interfering with future music work and causing damage to the company.

They also added that CCO Park and Executive Director Cho are suspected of maliciously stealing personal information and illegally leaking and providing it.
