SAMG Entertainment, First Reveal of 'Shooting Star Catch! Tinyping'

SAMG Entertainment (CEO Kim Suhoon, hereinafter SAMG Entertainment)'s core IP, "Catch! Tinyping," is unveiling its 5th season, "Shooting Star Catch! Tinyping."

SAMG Entertainment announced that on the 10th at 6 PM, it will hold the "Tinyping Show" on its YouTube channel "TinypingTV" to mark the beginning of the new Tinyping series.

The "Catch! Tinyping" series is the original animation of the movie "Love's Hatchuping," which attracted 1.2 million viewers domestically. Since the airing of season 1 in 2020, it has built recognition by releasing new seasons every year.

The Tinyping series has proven its popularity by breaking its own highest viewership ratings each year. Season 3, "Mysterious Catch! Tinyping," achieved a peak rating of 18.5%, and season 4, "Sweet and Sour Catch! Tinyping," which aired last year, started with a 20% rating and ended successfully with a peak rating of 26%.

In particular, since last year, SAMG Entertainment has been launching new Tinyping seasons through its YouTube channel "TinypingTV." During the live broadcast of the season 4 "Tinyping Show," the number of simultaneous viewers exceeded 14,000, earning it recognition as the undisputed new children's president.

Additionally, alongside the recent success of the movie, the "Guess the Tinyping Name" content has spread like a meme on social media, helping the Tinyping series grow into a unique character IP. As a result, various Tinypings, including Hatchuping, have become beloved K-animation characters across all age groups beyond the MZ generation, raising expectations for the new Tinyping characters to appear in the upcoming season.

Director Jang Sung of SAMG Entertainment stated, "Shooting Star Catch! Tinyping tells the story of Romi and Hatchuping protecting the Star Tinypings living in the Cosmic Star Village," adding, "You can look forward to a richer Tinyping universe with over 20 diverse Star Tinypings that light up the night sky."

Meanwhile, the "Shooting Star Catch! Tinyping" series, which will be first introduced through the "Tinyping Show" on this day, is scheduled to air for the first time on TV on Wednesday the 16th at 7 PM on Jaeneung TV.
