Local Companies Gain Attention at the 'Middle East K-Smart Farm Roadshow'

K.C.S.FARM and Cheonri Farm Showcase Excellent Technology

Gwangju-si Buk-gu, along with ‘K.C.S.FARM’ and ‘Cheonri Farm’, jointly participated in the ‘Middle East K-Smart Farm Roadshow’ held in Dubai, attracting attention by showcasing smart farming technology.

According to Buk-gu on the 8th, the Middle East K-Smart Farm Roadshow is an event organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and hosted by KOTRA to support the overseas market entry of companies with excellent smart farm technology.

This event featured 12 domestic companies, including K.C.S.FARM (located in Buk-gu) and Cheonri Farm (located in Naju), which boast the highest level of smart farm technology in Korea, along with about 6,000 buyers. K.C.S.FARM and Cheonri Farm, which attracted attention with aquaponics technology, plan to create sustainable farming methods through active cooperation with buyers in the Middle East region.

A Buk-gu Office official expressed the intention to support, stating, “The local government will make various efforts to ensure that the smart farm technology of local companies is recognized on the global stage.”

Meanwhile, last month, the Buk-gu Village Autonomy and Urban Regeneration Center collaborated with K.C.S.FARM and the Buk-gu Saemaul Association to establish an ‘urban smart farm’ facility incorporating aquaponics hydroponic cultivation technology.
