Dynamic Duo member Choiza has officially launched his traditional liquor brand, 'Boonza.'
'Boonza' is a traditional bokbunja (Korean black raspberry wine) brand that truly brings out the authentic flavors of Korean cuisine. It is a premium fruit wine made solely through natural raw material concentration and traditional fermentation methods. The recipe was developed over approximately two years with advice from various experts, including traditional liquor artisans, renowned chefs, and academic professors.
Unlike typical bokbunja wines, which are made by adding sugar and bokbunja flavor to diluted soju, 'Boonza' is made only with natural ingredients?bokbunja and apples. It contains no sugar, artificial sweeteners, distilled spirits, flavorings, colorants, or purified water.
'Boonza' will be introduced for the first time in a limited edition format on the limited-edition trading platform KREAM from 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 10, until 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, with a total of 100 bottles available through an application process.
Prior to the official launch, Choiza mentioned on his personal SNS posts the distinctions between 'Boonza' and other bokbunja brands, stating, "We did not add sugar or artificial sweeteners to maintain the identity of traditional liquor," and "We underwent a long fermentation process to achieve a perfected taste."
'Boonza' attracted attention from the public and fellow celebrities even before its launch through SNS and magazine interviews. Several celebrities, including Kim Poong, Noh Hong-chul, and Gaeko, have commented on the taste and quality of 'Boonza.'
A representative of Boonza stated, "We have strived to provide a new experience through the purely traditional method of brewing bokbunja 'Boonza,'" and added that starting with this KREAM release, they will work to make Boonza available in various places in the future.
