Ganggu Daegae Football Stadium and Yeonghae Sports Park Football Stadium on the 12th-13th
The 9th National Police Station Amateur Soccer Tournament, hosted by the National Police Agency and the National Police Soccer Federation and organized by the Gyeongbuk Police Soccer Federation, will be held for two days on the 12th and 13th at the Gangu Daegae Soccer Field and the Yeonghae Sports Park Soccer Field in Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk.
This tournament, sponsored by Yeongdeok-gun, the Yeongdeok-gun Sports Council, and the Yeongdeok-gun Football Association, saw 15 teams participate in the preliminary round for the senior division last May, divided into four groups for the group stage. In the main tournament, a total of 26 teams?18 in the youth division and 8 in the senior division?will compete for victory.
On the first day of the main tournament, the quarterfinals featuring teams from Northern Gyeonggi, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Jeju, Seoul, Jeonbuk, Ulsan, and Chungbuk, as well as the youth division preliminaries, will take place. On the second day, the youth division round of 16 and the senior division semifinals will begin, followed by the finals.
County Governor Kim Gwangyeol stated, "I hope that police soccer enthusiasts from all over the country who visit Yeongdeok-gun will be able to fully demonstrate the skills they have honed in the optimal environment and weather, enhancing the honor of their respective organizations and fostering unity among each other."
