A man in his 20s was caught by a neighbor while exposing himself and engaging in lewd acts in an apartment complex in the early morning hours.

On the 7th, the Sosa Police Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, announced that they had booked a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, without detention on charges of public indecency. According to the police, Mr. A is accused of sitting on a terrace chair in a common facility on the first floor of an apartment complex in Bucheon at around 2:50 a.m. on the 28th of last month, watching obscene videos alone while completely naked, including underwear. Although the crime scene was inside a common facility, it was reported that the terrace was partially exposed to the outside.

A resident of the apartment who witnessed the scene recorded a video of the incident and reported it to the police. The police analyzed the closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage installed near the common facility and apprehended Mr. A. The investigation revealed that he is an office worker residing in the apartment, and he was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident. It was also confirmed that he had no history of psychiatric treatment or prior offenses related to public indecency. Mr. A admitted to the charges during the investigation, stating, "I committed the act momentarily while drunk." The police plan to transfer Mr. A to the prosecution soon.
