Dongducheon City Council Holds October Council Members' Meeting

Dongducheon City Council held the "October Dongducheon City Council Members' Roundtable" on the 4th in the council members' meeting room.

The Dongducheon City Council of Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Kim Seung-ho) announced on the 7th that it held the "October Dongducheon City Council Members' Roundtable" in the council members' meeting room on the 4th.

At this roundtable, explanations were given on a total of 34 agenda items, including 12 ordinances proposed by council members and 22 items submitted by the executive branch, followed by discussions with the executive branch.

During the roundtable, two ordinances proposed by Chairman Kim Seung-ho as the main sponsor were discussed: ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Courtesy and Support for Honorable Citizens of Dongducheon City' and ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Installation and Management of Funeral Facilities in Dongducheon City'; two ordinances proposed by Vice Chairman Hwang Ju-ryong: ▲'Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Dongducheon City Sports Promotion Fund'; two ordinances proposed by Councilor Kim Jae-su: ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Rights Protection and Treatment Improvement of Care Workers in Dongducheon City' and ▲'Ordinance on the Provision and Support of Fire Evacuation Smoke Masks in Dongducheon City'; two ordinances proposed by Councilor Kwon Young-gi: ▲'Ordinance on Vaccination Support in Dongducheon City' and ▲'Ordinance on Pregnancy and Fertility Support in Dongducheon City'; three ordinances proposed by Councilor Park In-beom: ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Private Investment Projects in Dongducheon City', ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Veterans Hall in Dongducheon City', and ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Fostering and Supporting the Social Economy in Dongducheon City'; one ordinance proposed by Councilor Im Hyun-sook: ▲'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Management and Operation of Sports Facilities in Dongducheon City'; and one ordinance proposed by Councilor Lee Eun-kyung: ▲'Ordinance on the Establishment and Operation of the Dongducheon City Culture and Arts Promotion Fund'.

Regarding the 22 agenda items submitted by the executive branch, including ▲'Report on the Promotion of the Establishment of the Dongducheon City Mid- to Long-term Development Comprehensive Plan', explanations were provided by executive officials, and in-depth discussions were held.

Meanwhile, among the agenda items discussed at the roundtable, those requiring resolution by the plenary session will be revisited at the 333rd Dongducheon City Council extraordinary session.
