Gwangyang-si Operates 'Mom-Peonhan Pregnancy One-Stop Service'

Apply for Support Services Online and Offline at Once

Gwangyang City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it is operating the 'Mom Comfortable Pregnancy One-Stop Service' for the convenience of pregnant women.

The 'Mom Comfortable Pregnancy One-Stop Service' is a service that allows pregnant women to receive guidance and apply for various pregnancy support services, which previously had to be applied for separately at government agencies, local governments, and public institutions, all at once through online and offline channels.

Gwangyang City operates the "Mom-Friendly Pregnancy One-Stop Service" for the convenience of pregnant women.

Through this service, pregnant women can apply for 15 common government services (10 integrated applications, 5 individual applications/guidance) such as ▲pregnancy and childbirth medical expense support ▲folic acid and iron supplement support ▲Mom Comfortable KTX ▲maternal and newborn health care support ▲standard maternal and child health handbook ▲energy vouchers, as well as 6 local government services.

Gwangyang City's specialized services include providing parking permits and emblems for pregnant women, providing booklets on pregnancy and childbirth policies, and providing doorbell magnet stickers.

For services that provide items such as folic acid and iron supplements, pregnant women can request delivery to their desired location. While delivery fees were previously borne by the pregnant women, Gwangyang City has fully covered these fees since last year.

Lee Hyang, Director of the Birth and Health Division, said, “We will continue to make efforts to enable convenient use of pregnancy support services and do our best to create a pregnancy- and childbirth-friendly environment.”
