Busan Regional Headquarters of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Holds Award Ceremony for Foreign Worker Safety Video Contest

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director Gong Heungdu) held an award ceremony for the Foreign Workers Safety Video Contest on the 3rd floor of the main building at Pusan National University on the 7th.

The event was attended by the Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office, the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Korea Asset Management Corporation, and the Pusan National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, who introduced the entries and encouraged the awardees.


The awards included: Grand Prize (1 entry, President of Korea Asset Management Corporation Award), Excellence Award (3 entries, Head of Pusan National University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Award / Head of Busan Employment and Labor Office Award / President of Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Award), and Merit Award (8 entries, Head of Pusan National University LINC 3.0 Project Group Award). The prize money was KRW 3,000,000 for the Grand Prize, KRW 1,000,000 for each Excellence Award, and KRW 500,000 for each Merit Award.


The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency plans to distribute the winning entries of this video contest to construction sites in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region to promote and encourage the prevention of industrial accidents among foreign workers to both employers and on-site workers.
