Gwangju Transportation Corporation recently announced on the 7th that it conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) emergency treatment training for its executives and employees at its headquarters in Mareuk-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju.
This training was organized to systematically acquire the necessary response skills for emergency situations that can occur anytime and anywhere, aiming to improve the ability to respond effectively in real-life scenarios.
The training, conducted in collaboration with the Gwangju Western Fire Station, focused on practical exercises simulating real situations, including ▲action guidelines and 119 emergency call procedures during unusual situations ▲methods to check the responsiveness of cardiac arrest patients ▲CPR techniques and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Through this, it is expected that employees' on-site response capabilities in emergencies will be significantly enhanced.
Jo Ik-moon, President of Gwangju Transportation Corporation, stated, “We will always be prepared to serve citizens for accident-free and safe urban railway operations,” and emphasized, “We will continue to do our best to protect the health and safety of citizens through ongoing training to prepare for emergency situations.”
