Inje-gun's 'Misiryeong Healing Road 44-Second Video Contest' Attracts Attention

No Format or Expression Restrictions... Vertical Dimensions Allowed This Year
500 Million Won Prize for Grand Prize and Total 17 Million Won Awarded for 10 Works

Inje-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Choi Sang-gi) announced on the 7th that there has been a great deal of interest in the '7th Misiryeong Healing Road 44-Second Video Contest,' which began accepting submissions on September 25. This video contest was organized to increase traffic on National Routes 44 and 46, which pass through Inje-gun, Gangwon-do, crossing Misiryeong and heading toward Yangyang on the East Coast, as well as to revitalize tourism and the economy in areas along the national roads.

Anyone interested in Misiryeong Healing Road or Inje-gun can participate in the 'Misiryeong Healing Road 44-Second Video Contest.' Those wishing to enter can produce a 44-second video without restrictions on format or expression and submit it via email.


To discover diverse and distinctive videos, the contest is divided into two categories: the Misiryeong Healing Road category and the Sky-Blessed Inje-gun category. Additionally, vertical video format has been added to the submission specifications.


Inje-gun will conduct first and second rounds of judging based on four criteria: empathy and shareability, creativity, and suitability, selecting a total of 10 winning entries for awards. Winners will receive commendations along with prize money totaling 17 million KRW: one grand prize winner (5 million KRW), three excellence award winners (2.5 million KRW each), three merit award winners (1 million KRW each), and three judges' award winners (500,000 KRW each).


The results announcement and awards ceremony will be held in December, and the winning videos will be used as promotional materials for Misiryeong Healing Road and Inje-gun.


An official from Inje-gun stated, “We will strive to promote the diverse charms of Misiryeong Healing Road and Inje-gun to attract tourists and revitalize the economy along the national road areas.”
