The Korea Petroleum Association has decided to reappoint Chairman Park Ju-seon, whose term is about to expire.
On the morning of the 7th, the Korea Petroleum Association held an extraordinary general meeting at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, attended by CEOs of the four major refiners: SK Energy, GS Caltex, S-OIL, and HD Hyundai Oilbank. They resolved to reappoint Chairman Park, whose term ends on the 12th, as the 25th chairman.

Chairman Park, who was appointed as the 24th chairman on October 13, 2022, will serve as the head of the Petroleum Association for another two years.
Chairman Park expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate the trust shown by the member companies," and stated his ambition, "I will do my best to enhance the competitiveness of the petroleum industry, a key national infrastructure sector, and to meet the expectations of our members so that the refining industry can respond efficiently to the new era."
