Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it held the '2nd Demo Day,' an investment attraction briefing session for outstanding content companies, at the Webtoon Convergence Center on the 4th.
The event was attended by about 80 people, including 30 Bucheon content companies, 16 venture capital firms, as well as representatives from the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency, Gyeonggi Content Agency, and Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

Eleven presenting companies explained their company characteristics and future vision to attract investments from venture capital firms. In addition, following the briefing session, more than 50 one-on-one investment consultations and business networking meetings at the Webtoon Convergence Center were held between about 30 outstanding content companies and venture capital firms.
A representative from a participating venture capital firm said, "It was a great opportunity to take an in-depth look at the business status of various content industries such as webtoons in the comic city of Bucheon."
A Bucheon city official stated, "It has been five years since we started supporting content companies, and we are achieving noteworthy concrete results. We will continue to support companies to develop into an economic city with many jobs and a cultural city leading the content industry."
