The Daejeon Metropolitan Council announced that it will be accepting various citizen reports until the 31st, ahead of the upcoming administrative audit.


The subjects for reporting include all matters related to municipal and educational administration, such as: △illegal or unjust administrative actions △cases of budget waste △suggestions for policy improvement △matters compromising public safety △other inconveniences experienced by citizens.


Reports that infringe on personal privacy, contain personal attacks or are likely to be false or defamatory, are related to ongoing trials or investigations, are submitted anonymously, or are otherwise deemed inappropriate for handling through the administrative audit process will be excluded.


Anyone can participate by submitting reports via the Daejeon Metropolitan Council website, in person, or by mail.


Chairperson Cho Wonhui stated, "We will thoroughly review valuable citizen opinions so they can be reflected in the administrative audit," and added, "We will do our best to fulfill our role as a representative body for citizens by requesting improvements from the city and the Office of Education based on identified issues."


Meanwhile, this year’s administrative audit will be conducted from November 6 to 19 during the 282nd 2nd regular session.
