Won Universe announced on the 7th that its local VN Studio in Vietnam has obtained the international information security management standard certification ‘ISO27001’.
ISO27001 is a prestigious international certification for information security management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It is awarded by evaluating a company's ability to securely manage and protect its information assets. This certification signifies that Won Universe possesses a high level of responsiveness in information protection and security management systems and meets international standards.
In particular, the company is expected to provide a secure data management environment during collaboration with global business partners. It is anticipated that trust with customers and partners will increase through the prevention of technology leaks by building information security solutions.
Kim Do-kyung, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Won Universe, stated, “The ISO27001 certification recognizes that the company’s information security management system is established at a global level. Through this, we will build a system that can provide trust to customers and partners and continue to strengthen security management to provide safe services.”
Meanwhile, Won Universe has actively started game development by dispatching key domestic development leaders and core developers to its local studio in Vietnam. It is currently servicing its self-developed Web3 game ‘Champions Arena’ and is developing a next title based on a famous Japanese intellectual property (IP).
