Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it conducted a 'Digital Competency Enhancement Training' for about 400 public officials at the City Hall Su-eo Jangdae Hall on the 2nd.
This training was organized to improve employees' understanding of the digital environment in response to recent advancements in digital technology.
The training was led by a digital consulting expert and focused on topics that could satisfy employees' digital knowledge, such as the development of AI and the digital platform government.
A city official stated, "Through this training, we will do our best to enhance public officials' understanding of changes in the digital environment to achieve qualitative improvements in administrative services."
