36 Workers Awarded for Contributions to the Development of Long-Term Care Services
The Gyeonggi Gwangju Home Long-term Care Institutions Association took a commemorative photo after the 6th Excellent Worker Commendation Ceremony at Sunam Hall, Gwangju City Hall on the 7th. The Gwangju City Home Long-Term Care Institutions Association in Gyeonggi Province held the 6th Outstanding Worker Commendation Ceremony on the 7th at Sunam Hall in Gwangju City Hall.
This event was organized to encourage outstanding workers who have devotedly worked in the home long-term care service field and contributed to improving the quality of life of the elderly.
The commendation ceremony was attended by Mayor Bang Se-hwan, members of the National Assembly, and city councilors, who presented awards to the recipients and comforted and encouraged the efforts of home long-term care workers.
A total of 36 workers were recognized for their contributions to the development of long-term care services and were selected as outstanding workers to receive commendations.
In particular, this commendation ceremony highlighted once again the importance of workers who devote themselves in the home service field and recognized their efforts, making it a meaningful occasion expected to increase interest in the qualitative improvement of long-term care services and welfare policies.
Chairman Bang Seok-won of the association said, “Thanks to the dedication of the workers who quietly care for the elderly at home, home long-term care services are gradually developing,” and added, “The association will continue to provide support so that your efforts can shine even more in the future.”
In response, Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, “Gwangju City deeply understands the hard work of long-term care institution workers and plans to continuously cooperate and support the development of long-term care services.”
