Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province will hold the 18th Cheongsong Apple Festival online via the portal site Daum starting October 1.

The online version of the 18th Cheongsong Apple Festival was originally launched during the COVID-19 period to facilitate non-face-to-face communication. However, reflecting its continued popularity and to strengthen accessibility for the MZ generation familiar with mobile environments, it will be held again this year.

This year's online festival especially aims to increase interest and participation in the festival by allowing people to indirectly experience in-person programs, with the goal of attracting more on-site visitors.

The online festival program includes four online games: Cheongsong Apple Festival promotion, the main killer content Honey Fun-Apple Nanta, Challenge-Apple Sorting Lotto, Cheongsong Tour, and Cheongsong Puzzle, allowing people of all ages to enjoy the festival regardless of time and place.

The 18th Cheongsong Apple Festival will be held for five days from October 30 to November 3, when Cheongsong apples are at their peak, in the Yongjeoncheon area of Cheongsong-eup.

The festival will feature a variety of exhibition, sales, and experience booths, as well as participatory programs such as the Cheongsong Apple Parade and the Cheongsong Apple Flower Rope Weaving National Contest, where both residents and tourists can come together. There will also be hands-on programs like Cheongsong Golden Bell and Apple Bat, as well as diverse performances including Hello Concert Good Day and the World Confucian Culture Festival (Trot Concert).
