Rural Leaders Association Yeoju City Federation Holds Meeting with Member of National Assembly

Discussion Forum Explores Development Plans for Yeoju Agriculture

On the 4th, a meeting was held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building to explore development plans for agriculture in Yeoju, attended by 15 people including Kim Seon-gyo, a member of the National Assembly, the current executives of the Rural Leaders Yeoju City Federation, and the heads and related personnel of towns, townships, and districts.

On the 4th, Yeoju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) announced on the 7th that it held a meeting at the National Assembly Members' Office Building to explore ways to develop Yeoju agriculture. The meeting was attended by 15 people, including the executive members of the Yeoju Rural Leaders Association, heads of eup, myeon, and district chapters, and related personnel, along with National Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo.

Chairman Kim Hyun-tae said, "All members of the rural leaders in eup, myeon, and districts, including the executives, have gathered their wisdom and strength to lead the development of Yeoju agriculture. We organized this meeting with the National Assembly member," and expressed gratitude to Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo for taking the time to listen to the voices of farmers despite his busy national schedule.

At the meeting, Chairman Kim Hyun-tae and Senior Vice Chairman Lim Hyung-seon requested to seek multifaceted measures for the development of Yeoju agriculture.

Assembly member Kim Seon-kyo said, "Ministers and others have visited Yeoju to understand agriculture on-site. Issues arising in the field will be questioned during the upcoming national audit, and if it lays the foundation for profitable agriculture, I plan to take the lead more than anyone else."

Additionally, Director of Technology Planning Jeong Geon-su said on his way back to Yeoju, "As the department in charge of fostering the Yeoju Rural Leaders Association, we will actively cooperate so that rural leaders can continue to promote multifaceted activities for the development of Yeoju agriculture."
