Gyeonggi Paju City announced on the 7th that it will hold a 'Family Healing and Stargazing Program' at Yulgok Cultural School on the 11th.
This program was prepared to revitalize Yulgok Cultural School and expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture in celebration of Yulgok Culture Week (October 7-13).
The main programs include ▲family healing program based on communication techniques and restorative life education ▲constellation lectures ▲deep space celestial observation using telescopes and binoculars.
Up to 80 families with two or more members including minor children will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation is free of charge. Those who wish to apply can do so through the QR code provided on the poster. For more details, please contact the Paju City Hall website or the program coordinator.
Woo Eun-jeong, Director of the Culture and Arts Division, said, “We will strive to plan high-quality programs to expand opportunities for citizens to enjoy culture.”
Meanwhile, Yulgok Cultural School is a cultural space newly opened in March this year after renovation work began in November last year on the first floor of the closed Beopwon Elementary School building, through Paju City’s '2023 Gyeonggi-do Idle Space Cultural Regeneration Project' public contest.
