Korea Investment Trust Management started a response service on social network services (SNS) to protect financial consumers on the 7th.
This measure is implemented to resolve the information asymmetry problem between financial consumers and financial companies, correct exaggerated or distorted information, and protect financial consumers from incorrect information. It provides answers to inquiries about ACE ETF products on SNS. The service is initially conducted for posts made in the Naver stock discussion room. When information about ACE ETF products is needed among posts in the Naver stock discussion room, the ACE ETF manager provides answers through comments.
Inquiries unrelated to ACE ETF products are excluded from the response service. No answers will be provided for questions that can be interpreted as ETF stock recommendations, ETF investment advertisements, or investment solicitations unrelated to ACE ETF products.
Additionally, the latest answers are updated twice daily, and along with responses to inquiries, related reference URL addresses within the ACE ETF homepage will be provided. Answers are based on official product materials such as prospectuses and management proposals, and are grounded on basic product information and disclosure items such as fund overview and management structure.
Hwang Eui-sang, Executive Director of the Consumer Protection Department at Korea Investment Trust Management, explained, "This newly introduced service was implemented to provide necessary information and detailed explanations so that general financial consumers interested in investment can better understand our products," adding, "It is part of our management principle that prioritizes customer value orientation as well as financial consumer protection."
