Doosan Logistics Solutions (DLS) announced on the 7th that it has secured the logistics center project for Yes24's 'Yes24 SFC (Smart Fulfillment Center)'.

The 'Yes24 SFC', to be newly constructed in Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do, will have a total floor area of 52,450㎡ (approximately 15,870 pyeong), with one basement floor and four above-ground floors. It will be capable of handling an average daily intake of 280,000 books, shipping 200,000 books, and storing 4.5 million books. It will be responsible for online book logistics in the central region, with a scheduled completion date of March 2026.

In addition to designing the logistics center, DLS will be responsible for ▲ supplying Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) ▲ establishing a 3D monitoring system for AMRs ▲ building an integrated logistics information system that combines the operation, control, and real-time monitoring of all logistics center facilities. Notably, DLS plans to supply 544 AMRs for this project, the largest number for a single logistics center in East Asia.

The AMRs supplied by DLS for this project have a maximum payload capacity of 800 kg and can perform picking and storage simultaneously. Using the Goods to Person (GTP) method, the AMRs deliver racks (shelves) that are 2.7 meters high, where products are placed, directly to workers, minimizing their movement. Additionally, by integrating a Robot Management System (RMS), high-frequency order items are arranged at the shortest distance to workers, reducing AMR travel paths and providing data analysis and reporting functions.

Thanks to the flexible routing capabilities of DLS's AMRs, they can be applied to various sites ranging from large logistics centers to micro fulfillment centers (MFCs) within urban areas.

DLS will also supply its independently developed Warehouse Control System (WCS). The WCS is real-time integrated control software that covers various facilities within the logistics center, optimizing logistics flow and maximizing logistics efficiency as a core operational technology.

A DLS representative stated, "This project will be an opportunity to demonstrate DLS's excellent robot control capabilities and software integration skills, including the deployment of a large-scale AMR fleet. We will build the logistics automation solution with the highest quality within the planned timeframe."
