Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it will hold a special exhibition titled "The Lyricism and Emotion of Nature" from the 8th to November 7th at the Gyeonggi Millennium Road Gallery on the B1 floor of the Northern Government Complex.
The exhibition features works by Suam Park Kyung-ho, who carries his painting tools to mountains, fields, and rivers, capturing various landscapes in ink wash paintings according to the changes nature provides.
Works such as "Yeomchun (艶春)," which depicts the beautiful spring scenery of Namseorak Jujeongol, and other pieces capturing the landscapes of Namseorak Valley will be introduced. Visitors can see about 50 dynamic ink wash paintings that express the artist's relentless effort and passion to portray the ever-changing and unique aspects of nature and the emotions they evoke.
The outdoor exhibition "Return of the Salmon" by artist Lim Jin-ho, which has been ongoing since July at the outdoor exhibition hall, will conclude on the 11th of this month.
At the Northern Government Complex of Gyeonggi Province, cultural and artistic performances and the "Reading Gyeonggi Peace Plaza" have been operating since the second half of the year to promote regional art development and enhance cultural welfare for residents.
Byun Sang-gi, Administrative Management Officer of Gyeonggi Province, said, "We hope residents will enjoy a pleasant time appreciating various works through this exhibition," and added, "In the second half of 2024, we will continue to operate various events such as performances and exhibitions at Gyeonggi Peace Plaza, so we ask for your interest and participation."
