The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, together with Gyeonggi-do and KB Kookmin Bank, will hold the '2024 Gyeonggi-do KB Good Job (JOB) Festival' on the 8th at the Suwon Convention Center.
More than 200 outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises will participate in the event, recruiting over 2,000 personnel.
The Job Foundation will especially go beyond simply providing employment information by deploying the foundation’s professional career counselors to facilitate actual employment and hiring. They will directly introduce companies that job-seeking youth can apply to on-site. Additionally, after the fair, follow-up support such as additional interviews for participating companies and job seekers, as well as counseling for employees’ workplace adaptation, will be provided.
Reflecting industry and employment trends, the event will operate ▲ AI interview experience and competency tests ▲ Virtual Reality (VR) job experience center ▲ Mentoring zone run by current and former mentors from large corporations ▲ Employment consulting center ▲ Expert employment lectures & corporate recruitment briefing center ▲ Military officer recruitment center, among others.
Yoon Deok-ryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "This event was prepared through cooperation between Gyeonggi-do and KB Kookmin Bank to provide diverse and broad opportunities for job-seeking youth in the province to succeed in employment," adding, "We hope it will be an important opportunity to solve youth employment issues in the province."
