On the 6th, Judge Lee Ah-young of the Seoul Western District Court held a pre-arrest detention hearing (warrant review) for four Daejin-yeon members charged with joint trespassing under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes related to Violence, and dismissed all prosecution requests for arrest warrants. The judge explained, "The suspects have fixed residences, and at this stage, it is difficult to see any risk of evidence tampering or flight."
On the 4th, these individuals shouted slogans such as "Special investigation on Kim Keon-hee" and "Stop vetoing the special investigation" in front of the Presidential Office in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and attempted to enter the Presidential Office through the old Ministry of National Defense back gate but were arrested on the spot by the police.
In January, Daejin-yeon also attempted to enter the Presidential Office demanding a special investigation on the First Lady, and the police arrested 20 Daejin-yeon members on the spot. The police applied for arrest warrants twice for some of them, but the court dismissed all requests.
