On Monday the 7th, the nationwide weather will be mostly cloudy, with the central regions, Jeolla area, and Gyeongbuk area expected to clear up at night.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 10 and 18 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius.
Rain will continue mainly in the southern regions and Jeju Island. In the southern part of Gangwon, rain will stop in the early morning of the 7th; in Chungbuk and Jeolla areas, it will cease in the morning; and in the Gyeongsang area, it will end in the afternoon.
In the southern part of Chungnam, raindrops may fall between dawn and morning. Jeju Island may experience occasional rain until the morning of the 8th.
The expected rainfall over two days until the 7th is less than 5mm in southern Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, and Chungbuk. Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, northwestern inland Gyeongnam, and Daegu and Gyeongbuk (excluding the southern east coast) are expected to receive 5 to 10mm. Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam (excluding northwestern inland), the southern east coast of Gyeongbuk, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo are forecasted to have 5 to 20mm of rain.
Jeju Island is forecasted to receive 10 to 40mm of rain over three days starting from the 6th.
Fine dust levels nationwide are expected to be between 'Good' and 'Moderate'.
However, Incheon and Chungnam are expected to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning; Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungbuk in the afternoon; and Jeonbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk at night.
From dawn to morning, dense fog with visibility below 200 meters is expected in northern and eastern Gyeonggi, central and northern inland Gangwon, and mountainous areas. Other regions may also experience fog with visibility below 1 kilometer, so caution is advised for traffic safety while driving.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters. In the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea.
