On the evening of the 5th, fireworks were launched over the darkened Han River in Seoul, and as the sparks brightly illuminated the surroundings and poured down like rain, citizens alternately exclaimed "Oh~" and "Wow~".

At around 7:26 PM, starting with the first firework soaring into the sky in sync with the host's countdown, massive fireworks exploded continuously without pause. Watching the spectacle of the 'firework rain' pouring down, citizens repeatedly expressed their admiration.

The Japanese team presented fireworks featuring traditional Japanese colors under the theme of 'Colorful Spatial Art,' followed by the American team expressing freedom and dreams with more intense colored fireworks under the theme 'Dreaming of California.'

Citizens watching the spectacle of the 'firework rain' pouring down each exclaimed "Wow" and "Really amazing." The cool weather also contributed to enjoying the festival. The perceived temperature that day was 21 degrees Celsius.

The Korean team, responsible for the finale, launched fireworks over about 30 minutes under the theme 'Flash of Time,' conveying the message of 'Our brightest moments shining like a flash.'

There were also quite a few visitors who came to Seoul from other regions to enjoy the fireworks festival. Foreign spectators could be seen here and there as well.

On that day, the organizers estimated that about one million spectators enjoyed the festival around the Han River area.

With such a large crowd gathered, police and local government officials in charge of accident prevention and safety management were busy moving around.

At the entrances to Hangang Park, safety personnel and police guided visitors by saying, "Please keep moving without stopping for smooth passage."

Due to the surge in visitors, access to Noryangjin Sayuksin Park was restricted from 5:30 PM. Subsequently, access to Noryangjin Fish Market, Yongyangbong Reservoir Park, and Noryangjin Soccer Field was also successively blocked.

Yeouinaru Station on Line 5, the gateway to Yeouido Hangang Park, had 77 trains pass through without stopping from 6:00 PM to 9:25 PM, a total of 3 hours and 25 minutes. Afterward, trains resumed normal operation on all sections, but boarding was controlled at the Yeouinaru Station exit for a while.

As citizens actively participated in maintaining order, there was generally no major confusion during the event and on the way home. The fire department received only simple first aid requests such as abrasions or dizziness, with no reports of serious casualties.

During the festival, a fire broke out on a barge where the ignition platform for launching fireworks was installed, but it was immediately extinguished without spreading to the surroundings, resulting in no damage.
