‘Developing Aesthetic Sensibility Through Picture Books’ Topic
Booyoung Group announced on the 5th that its affiliated ‘Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Center’ conducted the ‘Picture Book Night Program’ on the 4th under the theme of ‘Cultivating Aesthetic Sensibility through Picture Books.’
Booyoung Group is operating a parent education program through picture books, receiving positive responses from parents. In June, Lee Gi-sook, a domestic authority in early childhood education and Booyoung Group’s standing advisor (Honorary Professor of Early Childhood Education at Ewha Womans University), gave a lecture titled ‘The Power of Reading Picture Books Together,’ which was attended by over 1,000 parents. In a pilot online education session held in July, a total of 57 centers and 216 parents participated, confirming the distinguished status of Booyoung Group’s educational programs. Currently, once a month, Professor Kang Sook-hyun from Suncheon Jeil University’s Department of Early Childhood Education is invited to provide higher-quality educational programs.

Booyoung Group operates the Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Center within its apartment complexes without charging rent to reduce childcare burdens for residents and support work-family balance. Additionally, the group has established a separate childcare support team that provides free services such as parent education, childcare consulting, support for childcare events, partnerships with excellent organic food suppliers and educational material providers, and entrance fee support for families with multiple children (second child and beyond), leading efforts to improve the educational environment. As a result, a total of 16 Booyoung Sarangro Daycare Centers have been selected as public-type daycare centers, gaining popularity as trusted and safe daycare centers that parents can rely on.
Booyoung Group is recognized as a model company leading ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities by continuously carrying out social contribution activities. To date, the amount donated by Booyoung Group to society exceeds 1.18 trillion KRW.
