Ulsan's Floating Treasure in Operation
Ulsan Museum will operate the "Children's One-Day Museum School: Ulsan's Floating Treasures" on October 12 and November 9 in the Experience Room on the second floor of Ulsan Museum.
The Children's One-Day Museum School is an educational program held on the second Saturday of every month for elementary school students, allowing children to experience the history and traditional culture of Ulsan. The educational theme changes every two months.
This program will be held twice a day, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., for a total of four sessions.
Focusing on the Buddhist culture of Ulsan during the Unified Silla period, participants will learn about representative cultural heritages such as the Ulsan Taehwasa Temple Site Stone Pagoda with Twelve Zodiac Figures, and take part in a hands-on activity where they melt waste plastic to create a shaker toy.
Applications for the program are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Ulsan City Public Facility Reservation Service website, with up to 25 participants per session. For more details, please refer to the Ulsan Museum website.
An Ulsan Museum official said, "We hope this will be an opportunity to deeply recognize the importance of environmental protection and cultural heritage preservation."
