Hosted by Gyeonggi Province and organized by the Gyeonggi Peace Education Center, the '2024 Gyeonggi Youth Peaceful Unification Policy 200-Person Debate' will be held on the 26th at Space Share Seoul Jungbu Center.

This debate will focus on 10 peaceful unification policies proposed by the 2nd cohort of Gyeonggi Youth Peace Leaders, with 50 members of the 2nd cohort and 150 youth from the province participating to discuss unification policies.

The 2nd cohort of Gyeonggi Youth Peace Leaders is a youth activity for peace and unification on the Korean Peninsula, consisting of 55 young people from Gyeonggi Province and 5 international students, who began their activities in June.

Through various programs, they have developed their capabilities, researched peaceful unification policies, and raised understanding and interest in unification among Gyeonggi youth. This debate will showcase the results of their efforts and serve as a platform for communication to develop unification policies together with youth in the province.

Youths attending this debate will be given a special opportunity to present their opinions on Gyeonggi Province’s peaceful unification policies, and a nominal honorarium will be provided. It is expected to be a meaningful event gathering diverse perspectives and ideas surrounding the policy proposals of the 2nd cohort of Gyeonggi Youth Peace Leaders.
