Preventing Respiratory Diseases Such as Cold, Rhinitis, and Asthma with Oriental Medicine Treatment
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) Dream Start announced on the 4th that it will operate the 'Autumn Treatment' program for vulnerable children until November in preparation for the changing seasons.
The changing seasons are a period when children's immunity decreases, increasing the risk of respiratory diseases. The 'Autumn Treatment' is a traditional Korean medicine health program aimed at preventing respiratory diseases such as colds, rhinitis, and asthma in vulnerable children under Dream Start.
This program is sponsored by Hamsoah Korean Medicine Clinic Hwajeong Branch (Director Jeon Seung), providing each child with three respiratory treatments and one set of Cheong Trio (Cheongbisu, Cheongbigo, Cheonginsu).
A Goyang City Dream Start official stated, "We deeply appreciate Hamsoah Korean Medicine Clinic for their annual sponsorship to strengthen the immunity of Dream Start children. Programs like Dongbyeonghachi, Spring Treatment, and Autumn Treatment greatly contribute to improving children's health."
Meanwhile, Goyang City Dream Start provides integrated case management and customized services such as health and welfare support for vulnerable children and families under 12 years old (elementary school age and below).
