On the 19th, 300 pre-registered participants will join the walk at Duta-yeon, course 26 in Yanggu. On the last day, the 26th, 700 participants will walk the Punch Bowl Trail near the DMZ Native Plant Garden on course 28 in Yanggu and will once again experience the ‘forest meal.’ In addition, various side events such as a local specialty market involving community participation, eco-friendly experience programs, and one-minute caricature drawing will be held.

The ‘DMZ Peace Trail’ consists of a total of 35 courses covering 510 km. It offers an opportunity to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the Korean Peninsula while passing through frontline villages near the civilian control line such as the Labor Party Headquarters and Eulji Observatory, which remind visitors of the realities of the Korean War and division, as well as the DMZ Ecological Peace Park battle sites, plains, rivers, and mountainous terrain.

Detailed information about the event can be found on the official ‘DMZ Healing Forest Trail Walk’ website starting from Saturday, October 5th.
