Dongducheon-si, Opening of Comprehensive Childcare Support Center Dongducheon City opened the Dongducheon City Childcare Support Center on the 2nd and will begin full-scale operations from the 4th.

Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 2nd that it has opened the Dongducheon City Childcare Support Center and will begin full-scale operations from the 4th.


The Childcare Support Center plans to provide various educational programs and home childcare support for parents, infants, daycare centers, and childcare staff. The main facilities include the Ai Sarang Playground, Toy Library, Part-time Childcare Room, Program Room, Counseling Play Therapy Room, and Lecture Room.


The center will be operated on a consignment basis by the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Dongyang University and will conduct child abuse education and standard childcare curriculum training for childcare teachers to improve the quality of daycare centers in the area.


Additionally, to support families with children aged 0 to 5, the center will offer various childcare support services such as the Toy Library, Ai Sarang Playground, and Part-time Childcare, establishing itself as a healing space that alleviates the difficulties of caregivers in raising children.


Meanwhile, the 'Ai Sarang Playground' and 'Toy Library' within the Dongducheon City Childcare Support Center are available free of charge to members who are either daycare centers in the area, Dongducheon citizens with children aged 0 to 5, or local workers after registration.

On this day, Mayor Park Hyung-deok of Dongducheon City stated, "I hope the Dongducheon City Childcare Support Center will create a happy childcare environment for children and parents by providing high-quality services, and that it will establish itself as a childcare support hub within the local community so that children can grow creatively and healthily."
