Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Department of Medical Skin Care Achieves 100% Pass Rate in National Qualification for Process-Based Beautician

The Department of Medical Skin Care at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) announced on the 4th that all 15 candidates who took the '2024 Process-Based National Technical Qualification Exam' passed with a 100% success rate, obtaining the national cosmetologist (skin) technical qualification certificate.

The 'Process-Based Qualification' is a national technical qualification system introduced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. It is a system that grants qualifications to those who complete a training course that meets certain requirements based on the National Competency Standards (NCS), which aim to foster practical, work-centered talent, and who meet the passing criteria (a score of 80 or higher) through internal and external evaluations.

The Department of Medical Skin Care is the first in the Busan area to foster a new occupational group called 'Beauty Healthcare Coordinator,' which combines medicine and beauty. Based on its accumulated educational infrastructure and know-how in talent development, the department provides comprehensive professional skin care services in the anti-aging and medical tourism industries, consistently proving the results of its field-oriented vocational education.

Those who acquire the process-based qualification and are employed are adapting relatively quickly to on-site work, receiving positive evaluations from companies. This is also the result of proactively fostering practical industrial talent through long-term field internships and early employment during the graduation semester.
